Any news on this front?
I saw that Wiggy did put up a post a week or two ago. I understand he’s still recovering from his stroke, and this past year-plus has been a hot mess with COVID-19. Do you think it would be possible to give an update in regards to the possible Hellfrost relaunch? No dates, but is it still in the pipeline as a future project? Has Wiggy had any thoughts on how he sees the relaunch work out that he’d like to share?
@Wiggy: Glad to see you on the site again. I hope you’re recovery has been going well.
I don’t have my books with me, but I don’t recall any specific information regarding female orcs. In my campaign I made female orcs similar to the gargun in Harn. Few in number, but they lay a lot of eggs. The young emerge from the eggs sentient and grow to full size in a few months. Make your female orcs however they suit your own tastes.
I hope he gets well soon, but I also hope he takes the time he needs to recover without rushing it. Thank you for the update.
I don’t use Facebook or social media in general. While the discussion may be happening on Facebook, could you put a copy of the major Facebook postings on Hellfrost in this forum?
I haven’t received any such e-mail, which makes me a little sad.
I don’t know if I’d be interested in a new version of the core Hellfrost setting. I’m still hoping to eventually see setting expanded to show the Asian/water themed empire to the east. If you do release the eastern setting using the updated Savage Worlds you could also include concise guidance how to bring the other regions up to date?
The text implies that defense upgrades should be more expensive than fortification upgrades. Should the defense cost be based on the size of the resource itself? To erect a +1 wall around a resource 20 should be more expensive than around a resource 5?
You raise a good point. I’m still accepting tweaks and errata, so I’ll work that in.
(Cut for clarity)
If a resource already has some level of fortifications is it reasonable/practicle for the cost of deliberate population growth to also be increased?
Understood. Thank you for the update.
