Three step question.
Edit: Oops, I forgot he has to have the Fencing School first to get the bonus Talent
So:
A player takes the Intelligent Talent at creation and boosts his intelligence to 6
He then takes Geometria Fencing style
He takes the Geometria Fencing School
His skill is above 4
Once he gets 15 more xp he takes Geomertry of Style Talent (or takes fencing School Level 2 and 'borrows' the Talents of the School)

The rules for Geometry of Style want a forfeit of attacks equal to 6 - his Intelligence score to allow a Geometria rating Opposed roll vs the Opponents combat skill. If the roll is won the character would get a +2 for the rest of the combat.

Is there a minimum of 1 attack forfeit? otherwise the Intelligent character could roll opposed for a +2 bonus with no delay.

Next: Parry
Assume the character gets 15 more XP and takes the Parry Talent.

If during the time spent studying an opponent that opponent closes with the character and attacks the character, would the Parry Talent still allow a reflexive Parry?

If the character advanced further and took Riposte, would he still be allowed to relfexively Parry/Riposte an opponent during any time he was studying them?

If a 6 Intelligence removes any need for study then all the above questions are moot, but everything would apply if a character had a 5 Intelligence and was looking for a bonus after 1 forfeited attack.

That's my bad. There should be a one round minimum. Genius or not, he still needs at least a few seconds to study the patterns.

Yep. That isn't an attack action. Nothing stops him parrying (reflexively or otherwise).

Again, that's acceptable as he isn't taking an attack action. Riposte is art of his defensive action.
