Writing manuscripts involves a lot of ideas that get deleted. I'm just typing up an adventure seed involving Tommaso Campanella, who defected to France in 1636, and my brain is telling me I've already done that in another product. I've used "Find" in every PDF, and Search contents in Windows for every document on my hard drive to no effect.

Either my Find-fu is wonky, Windows is lying, or the idea was written and then abandoned. If any one comes across his name in an AFO document, please let me know. Smile

Tommaso Campanella, the domenican philosopher, who fled a calabrian conspiracy initiated by one of his followers in 1634 with the help of one Cardinal Barberini and the French Ambassador de Noailles? The one who spends his final days in the Convent of Saint-Honoré in Paris under the protection of Cardinal Richelieu and with a liberal pension from Louis XIII?

Sorry, couldn't find a glimpse of him on my harddisk either. Maybe he is mentioned in the RG about the Church or Intrigue & Diplomacy, two of guides still on my wish list?

Didn't find him in the RGs for Church, Science, Radicals (not sure why I checked this one) but haven't had a chance to check Intrigue & Diplomacy yet.

I checked all of those, plus Villainy and Justice, Nobles and Courtiers, and Entertainment before having to stop.

No sign.

Always a pleasure! Wink

I can see why he will be a very interesting NPC for AfO. He delved into nature philosophy (aka science), magic, political theory and natural religion. No wonder that he rubbed the wrong way with the high and powerful, the Inquisition, the church and some nobles.
