Just a reminder that if you're ever looking to build some scenery, Steve has put some building guides together.

The barrows are especially excellent for all those plucky heroes daring to enter the Withered Lands.

I really like the terrain. But I am a big fan of the paper terrain since you can have players explore it.

Which raises the question for me if you guys could provide us with some terrain (special structures, houses, burrows etc; 1 page max) with some of the upcoming adventures - regardless of line?

TAG Steves models are just fantastic, but for me such structures have to be playable not just dioramas.

Having clambered over one of the barrows and ducked behind some of the foliage I can confirm that TAG Steve's structures are indeed playable Smile Okay so the cover wasn't enough and some of the party got toasted but what they hey, it happens and it wasn't a TPK.

For me paper models are better for play, because it doesn't give me a heart attack if it gets damaged, lost or spilled with "noxious" liquids.

But it's an eye candy.

Strangely enough I can sometimes spend more time making my paper terrain than I do making stuff out of scrap, by time you cut it all out, then do all the folding, glueing, then edge it in black etc, it can get a bit addictive too, I have a whole drawer of card that needs building...whoops.

I have lost count on how many wordworks sets I have got at present, some have died horrible deaths
Here is one of the trickiest things I have done in card:

the buildings were a whole lot easier, until I decided to add interiors....

I also have a whole dungeon, pirate stokade thinumybob, with lord Fanhards carribean residence too not to mention a native village etc.
they are hopefully safe in the loft away from the damp..... Shocked

Depending on cost vs time, it might be cheaper to get a printer that handles paper models for you, such as a Silhouette SD (http://www.graphtecusa.com/) that should do the cutting for you.
