TAG Holiday Message
Well folks, another year is coming to an end, and what a year it’s been!
Triple Ace Games has had a very hectic six months! We set ourselves high standards and formulated a packed release schedule and we have successfully delivered that schedule.
So it’s with much pride we can say that having started with virtually nothing we’ve managed to release 31 high-quality products in a timely fashion. As well as supporting two Savage Worlds’ settings (Necropolis 2350 and Sundered Skies), we’ve also produced the two-fisted Daring Tales of Adventure (DTA) and pseudo-medieval Daring Tales of Chivalry (DTC) lines, not to mention Kevin’s excellent Wonderland No More. And we even managed to squeeze in a handbook of new rules options, some free bonus material, and even a bit of fiction for good measure.
Although TAG has focused on Savage Worlds products, the success of the Daring Tales of Adventure line allowed us to secure a license to convert the adventures to the popular Ubiquity system published by Exile Games. These compendiums will be out next year.
So what will 2009 bring? We’ll be continuing to support our existing settings and adventure lines. Our two existing settings will each get a companion volume and adventures, DTA volume one will conclude on Issue #16 (so eight more issues to come), and DTC is getting extra adventures to meet demand from the fans.
We’ll also be introducing you to our new ice-age fantasy setting, Hellfrost, through books (Players’ Guide, Bestiary, and Gazetteer) and ebook adventures. Expect to see a lot more on this setting around mid January as we begin to release more details in preparation for the launch.
There’s also a brand new Daring Tales of… series scheduled (that’s right, a completely new adventure line that’s literally going to be out of this world) and two Savage Showdown™ projects already written. Added to this list is a super-secret project we’re going to be discussing in the spring.
While the triple aces are Wiggy, Rob, and Dave, TAG couldn’t have produced everything its extensive product selection without our volunteers, assistants, and backroom team. So TAG would like to offer its sincerest thanks to Kevin Anderson for designing and maintaining the website, and writing adventures, Ron Blessing for his sterling editing, all our artists including Chris Kuhlmann, Johnny Gray, Justin Russell and Jordan Peacock for his fantastic work on the various Figure Flats and speedy artwork, Steve Renwick for creating the modeling guides, Markus Finster for moderating the forums, and, of course, all the fans who have supported us so far on this epic journey.
We’d also like to offer special thanks to Shane Hensley for granting us our licenses, supporting our leap into the unknown, and being an all-round star, and the crew at The Game’s the Thing for letting us have some air time to hawk our wares.
Well, that about wraps up our end of year summary. Whatever your religious or spiritual beliefs, have a happy and peaceful holiday season!
The journey continues in 2009!
Wiggy, Rob, & Dave

stormtroopers leads the heroes on an exciting chase through the
streets of the Big Apple as they try to disable remote-controlled
bombs, to the glittering lights of Paris and the famous Les
Folies-Bergères nightclub, into Nazi Germany in search of clues, and
finally to the ice-covered wastes of Antarctica on the trail of a
secret Nazi base.
Along the way they learn of a new and terrible weapon capable of
removing cities from the globe in a fraction of a second.
In this the latest Daring Tales of Adventure from Triple Ace Games,

12th November 2008 - Tales from the Frontline #01
More Necropolis 2350 fun today as we release Tales from the Frontline.
Rather than one mission, Wiggy has delivered a pack of several smaller
missions to play through with also new rules for creating non-combat
adventures and new mission tables.
Tales from the Frontline #01
You've joined the Sacri Ordines, you've earned your sword, and now
you're waiting eagerly for the call to battle? Wait no longer, brave
Knights!
Inside this adventure pack you'll find:
-
Snatch and Grab: A full-length adventure in which the Knights are
ordered to secure unusual Rephaim specimens for scientific study.
Alone in a hostile city, the Knights need to act quickly and quietly.
-
A Cardinal Error: Cardinal Vespasian, head of the Office of
Agriculture, has been kidnapped by separatists seeking to join the
Union of Corporations. To ensure a safe rescue, and make other
kidnappers think twice about daring to use force against the Church
and its officials, the Pope has personally ordered the Sacri Ordines
to conduct a televised rescue mission. The orders for this short
adventure are brutally simple—rescue the prisoners, kill the kidnappers.
-
Three Short Adventures: When someone higher up the chain of command
makes a mistake, it's left to the Knights to appear live on the
Church's home-shopping channel to sell merchandize! Aiding another
Preceptory, the Knights are assigned to walk the beat and police the
streets. Have they got what it takes to deal with the public without
resorting to violence? In the third adventure, a rescue mission leads
to a terrifying discovery (this mission also details a new Dangerous
Secret the WM can use in his own Necropolis 2350 adventures).
-
WM Appendix: Contains a quick system for creating non-combat
missions, and additional Mission Tables to give the WM more choice in
the sorts of combat adventures he runs.
-
Bestiary: Every stat you need to run the adventures is included to
reduce book-flipping during play! Includes two new forms of Rephaim
and two variants on the zombie stat block—sniper and grenadier.

Necropolis Adventure - The Long Sleep
Deep in the Desert Something is stirring!
An overdue routine communication from an archaeological team operating
deep in the Ruber Desert requires investigation, and the Knights are
given the task. What might have been a technical fault caused by
recent solar storm activity turns out to be something far worse.
The archaeologists have made a discovery, perhaps the greatest
discovery in human history. But what they found wasn't dead — it was
only resting, waiting for the sign to reawaken.
Now, as a powerful storm sweeps over the archaeologists' base camp,
the heroes are about to encounter something not seen in the universe
for millions of years. There is no hope for rescue. There is only
victory or death against a foe far more deadly than the Rephaim.
The Long Sleep is the first of a new series of Necropolis 2350
adventures from Triple Ace Games. Out now only from the TAG
store!

9th October 2008 - TAG Secures Ubiquity License
Triple Ace Games (TAG) and Exile Game Studio (EGS) are pleased to announce that TAG's
popular Daring Tales of Adventure line of pulp roleplaying game adventures are to be converted
to EGS's widely-acclaimed Ubiquity Roleplaying System under a licensing agreement.
TAG's creative director and author of the Daring Tales line, Paul "Wiggy" Wade-Williams says,
"As a fan of the Ubiquity system and Hollow Earth Expedition RPG, it's a great privilege to be working
with Jeff Combos and the team at Exile Game Studio on this venture. I've been freelancing for a decade,
but it's always a buzz to be able to work on one of your favourite systems. Our adventures are fast-paced,
two-fisted tales designed to mimic the style and feel of the Saturday morning serials, so they're a great
match for the Ubiquity system."
Robin Elliott, Production Director of TAG says "I am very excited by this oportunity to make our
pulp adventures available to a whole new audience. We hope that the fans of the Ubiquity system enjoy
these action tales as much as we have enjoyed creating them!"
"The Daring Tales perfectly capture the pulp vibe we imbued into Hollow Earth Expedition RPG,
and it's great to be working with a company who understands the spirit of the genre," says Jeff Combos,
President of Exile Games.
Four adventures will be bundled together in each set, with one set being released each quarter.
The first release, containing Daring Tales #1-#4, will be released in January 2009 as a PDF product.

Exile Game Studio
Exile Game Studio is based in Seattle, WA, where its co-founders came to reside following a series of calamitous and
near-apocryphal events that don't really bear closer examination. Following a heated dispute over the hollow earth theory,
they found themselves marooned on a desert island-exiled from the world they knew, and armed only with their wits, a sand spade,
and a number two pencil with which to survive. Recognizing their limitations, they immediately fashioned a crude set of dice
from rocks and shells and set about creating innovative new roleplaying games to pass the time. They were eventually rescued,
and vowed to exact vengeance by sharing with fellow gamers all they'd created during their banishment. Whether or not the
world is truly prepared for such torment, only history shall judge.

To save the monks physical bodies, and maybe their eternal souls, the knights must deal with a divine servant
who guards a holy weapon and a French raiding party attacking southern England before facing down the true monster.
A Knight’s Tale is a standalone adventure and comes complete with 6 pre-generated characters available at the back of the adventure.

29th July 2008 - Daring Tales #03 - Treasure of the Templars
This week we have a brand new Daring Tales adventure from Paul 'Wiggy' Wade-Williams.
An invitation to Washington to attend a lecture seems innocuous enough, but nothing
is ever straightforward when the heroes are around. When a mysterious motorbike rider
snatches a small wooden box from the hands of the noted historian, Professor Dickinson,
it starts the heroes on a deadly quest. But why do the Nazis also want the box?
Daring Tales #3 takes the characters on a whirlwind ride from the streets of Washington
to the baking sands of Egypt, onto a Crusader castle, and finally to a vast ice fortress
in the frozen north, and all in search of a treasure men have killed to acquire and killed
to protect—The Treasure of the Templars.

23rd July 2008 - Pulp Perils!
In our regular Wednesday update we present a brand new Savage Worlds Handbook.
Perilous Places & Serious Situations is written by our top Savage Worlds
expert Paul 'Wiggy' Wade-Williams
This sourcebook contains ways to liven up your games by looking at different
locales and the varying dangers they present.
Inside you’ll find rules for expanded arctic and desert survival, the dangers of
collapsing tunnels and stampedes, fighting atop rooftops, crumbling cliffs, tall
columns, rope bridges, underwater, and on vertical surfaces, the hazards of stormy
nights and swamps, and expanded traps.
Perilous Places doesn’t contain definitive, “must-use” rules. Instead, it’s a toolbox,
giving GMs plentiful options to suit any style of game, and allowing them to use the
same backdrop at varying power levels.
Players be warned—combat just got a whole lot more perilous!

Announcing Necropolis 2350!
Coming this September - an all new updated version of the hugely popular Savage setting Necropolis!
All of us here at Triple Ace Games are extremely excited about this news and have been bursting to announce
this for sometime! Written by legendary Savage Worlds guru Paul "Wiggy" Wade-Williams of Triple Ace games,
this new version is for all those loyal fans who wanted a hardback copy of this popular setting.
Those fans can now rejoice as we are happy to let you know that it will be available in a fantastic
full color, 176 page hardback! Check our
Necropolis 2350
page for more details and for those who have not been exposed to the horrors of Necropolis here is the
official detail:
The year is 2350.
The place is Salus - more popularly called Necropolis - the only habitable world left to mankind.
Knights of the militant Sacri Ordines of the Third Reformation Church are locked in a bitter
crusade against the Rephaim ("the dead ones"), a race of evil beings who wield necromantic powers
and possess a fervent desire to exterminate all life. Lives are not the only thing at
stake - humanity's very existence hangs in the balance. If the Rephaim win, mankind's light
will forever disappear from the universe. Should humanity succeed in overcoming the tide of
darkness, it can begin to rebuild its former might, perhaps again reaching out into the void
to find new worlds on which to prosper and multiply.
Yet even when faced with extinction, mankind cannot work together. While the Rephaim batter at
humanity's door, the Church and Union of Corporations continue their cold-war struggle for
dominance over the lives of millions. All that stands between oblivion and salvation are courage
and faith. Welcome to Necropolis...
Necropolis 2350 is a dark futuristic setting for the award-winning Savage Worlds RPG.
16th June 2008
