DTotSP #01: Family Affair & Extraction 101
Put on those shades, run a self-diagnostic on your implanted chrome and prepare to hit the mean streets with this,
the first issue of Daring Tales of the Sprawl!
Triple Ace Games’ new line of cyberpunk, two-fisted tales takes the characters into the sprawl,
where extracting corporate employees from under their employers noses, exchanging fire with the scum who inhabit
the deregulated zones, whilst trying to stay alive long enough to collect your pay is the order of the day.
This inaugural issue contains two short adventures.
Family Affair: A new patron contacts the heroes and pays them a retainer to perform a few odd jobs on a tight schedule:
Tampering with food deliveries, "rescuing" a middle-aged couple from an ambulance, keeping them safe and delivering them to
the airport are hardly standard missions, but the patron is paying well.
Extraction 101: An almost textbook corporate extraction is required. What could possibly go wrong? Quite a lot actually,
and the heroes are going to be busy trying to ensure it doesn’t. Their mission takes them from the sterile corridors of a
corporate tower, to a crosstown race against time, and finally to the ruins of the deregulated zone.

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!
When your trip to Lux III hits "difficulties" your patron suggests a way you can repay him and avoid his lawyers.
It's a simple enough task, on the surface; all you have to do is infiltrate a criminal gang, discover who their
boss is, and put him out of business. But there's a drawback, and it's a big one. The gang operates in Tin Town,
a robots-only slum, and fleshies just aren't welcome there. But fear not, for your patron has a solution;
you're going to enter Tin Town disguised as robots!
Have the heroes got what it takes to be a robot and avoid detection? Can they infiltrate the gang and work their way
to see Mr. Big? Or is it all going to end in one huge rumble?

22nd July 2009 - And the winner is...!
We can finally announce the winning entries for our writing competition! In true award ceremony tradition,
I'd like to say a few words about the competition. I'd like to thank all those who took the time to submit their
Ace Tales and I can say that all the judges enjoyed reading them.
The judging was done independently by Robin Elliott, Paul 'Wiggy' Wade-Williams, Kevin Anderson and Dave Blewer.
Each of the tales was scored and the results brought together. I can say it was a tough competition to win because
of the quality of the top scoring submissions but in the end the entries did fall into 3 distinct categories:
A - The Winning Entry (there can be only one)
B - Runners Up to be published
C - Sorry Didn’t make the grade
Without further delay we are very pleased to announce the winning entry as A church Fallen by Doug Kilmer and
Brett Smith! The prize worth over $350 will be on its way to them!
Here is the final published version for all of you to read:
Ace Tale #02: A Church Fallen
So to the runners up who each receive $30 worth of vouchers to spend at the TAG store. All of these entries will be
published by TAG over the following weeks - in alphabetical order:
Dave Olson - The Dangers of Iphus IV
Jason Irrgang - The Best Things
Luis Enrique Torres - A Stitch in Time, Everybody comes to Trix, Horror in the Ice, The Dark Slide of the Moon, The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of
Marcus Bone - Ghostly Echoes, Just a Little Maw, Mirror, Rirrom, The Stowaway
Nick Riggs - Under Pressure
Notty Stone - Rocket Nazis on the Orient Express
Peter Lustig - Prison Base Moon 52
Robert Bickmeier - Angel Down
Robert Rosenthal - Deathstination
Rustin Holmes - The Voice Stone
I think Luis Enrique Torres and Marcus Bone both deserve a special mention because they did produce some brilliant
tales and all of their entries had a consistently high quality in their writing. Also Notty Stone should get a
mention for a great pulp tale with the best title!
We will be contacting all of the runners up to congratulate them over the next few days. All of you who were not
listed above I'm afraid fell into the category C however we hope you enjoyed writing for the competition - better
luck next time!

17th June 2009 - Hellfrost: Players Guide & Shadow of Darkness
This week at Triple Ace Games, we have a bumper update for you!
First up we have the eagerly awaited Hellfrost: Players Guide ebook. Start adventuring in a winter world!
Hellfrost: Players Guide
An endless winter is coming...
500 years ago: From the frozen far north, beyond the civilized lands with their rolling hills and forests,
arose a mighty army of frost giants, ice devils, Hellfrost dragons, and fearsome orcs, servants all of the ice
god Thrym. So began the terrible Blizzard War and the downfall of the mighty empires of man.
Today: The races of the southern lands may have won the war, but they suffer its legacy still.
For five centuries the winters have grown steadily longer and colder. Huge swathes of the land of
Rassilon are permanently covered in ice and snow, and even the temperate lands are not spared the misery
of failed harvests, deadly winters, and the dreaded Hellfrost wind.
But winter is not the only danger. A mere 30 years ago, magic, once the civilized races’ most potent weapon,
suddenly began to fail. The Siphoning, an effect of unknown origin, has made magic an unpredictable ally.
Welcome to the world of Rasilon, welcome to Hellfrost!
Get the Hellfrost Players Guide direct from TAG
here.
Hellfrost Adventure #03: Shadow of Darkness
We continue our Hellfrost theme this week with a brand new adventure! It is also part one of a new four part
mini campaign called Saga of the Frost Giants. This adventure can be played as a standalone game or part of
the mini campaign so you don't have to wait for the other three to begin playing.
Something Stirs In The Icebarrier Mountains
Joining a caravan as guards is a way to earn good money and see the world, though it is not without its risks.
Having signed up as guards, the heroes are about to take part in a journey from the relative safety of the lands
around Hellfrost Keep, home of the Hearth Knights, to the distant Saxa steads nestled in the forlorn Icebarrier
Mountains.
Together the characters and the small band of heavily-armed frost dwarves travelling with the caravan must weather
goblin attacks, for the fell creatures have stirred early this year and seem keen to make their presence felt.
It becomes clear the goblins are not acting alone. Something more powerful is behind their attacks, something
with grander plans than a few raids.
Shadow of Darkness can be played as a standalone adventure or as part one of a four-part mini-campaign arc
and includes maps and a set of Figure Flats by Jordan Peacock!
Get Shadow of Darkness direct from TAG
here.

It seemed that Savage Worlds was extremely popular! We had 8 games running throughout the day even a 10 player
Necropolis game and it seemed that TAG would dominate the RPG scene for most of the weekend!
The Saturday and Sunday also saw our popular skirmish games get plenty of action and we had folk playing on our
Hellfrost demo and also Daring Tales of Adventure tables at the TAG booth constantly throughout the weekend!
So we'd like to thank all the TAG fans for showing up to support us and the convention.
Thanks to the UK Expo and Clarendon Suite staff who so expertly organised the weekend making it hugely enjoyable.
Also we'd like to thank all the TAG team for expertly running the booth and demos over the fun packed weekend.

a sweet old lady, who just happens to be a close friend of the Pope, leads the Knights into the murky world of

The Dark Seed
The balance of nature is tipping!
Animal life was not always dominant in Rassilon. Eons ago, before the balance of nature was established,
sentient plants were the superior life form. Among their number was a particularly vile species which sought
the extermination of all animal life. Although long thought extinct, one of their seed pods has lain dormant,
silently waiting for the right time to awaken and release its deadly contents. That time has finally come.
An elf druid, infected by the seed pod, plans to issue in a new era—a world of plant domination.
To defeat him the heroes must first stand against his insidious creations, creatures part-animal and part-plant,
and whose touch is deadly. But the heroes are not alone in their quest, for the fey have sensed the danger the
druid presents to the natural order.
Can the heroes avoid becoming mutated plant beings long enough to track the druid to his lair?
Are they strong enough to stand against the druid’s corrupting power or will they end up with more than green fingers?
The Dark Seed is the second tale for Triple Ace Games’ Hellfrost setting.

are never that simple.
What begins as a routine journey quickly embroils the adventures in a deadly plot to inflict starvation

a dark swarm has been unleashed on Rassilion, a swarm which leaves only death and disease in its wake.

DTotSL #01: Waylaid on Wayland & Gunboat Diplomacy
Strap in and prepare for lift off, with the first issue of Daring Tales of the Space Lanes!
Triple Ace Games’ new line of high-octane, two-fisted tales takes the heroes into space, where fighting evil crimelords,
dodging bounty hunters, and evading asteroids while blasting at enemy fighters is all part of a day’s work.
In this free supplement we give you everything you need to explore the
Daring Tales of the Space Lanes! Get Waylaid on Wayland & Gunboat Diplomacy to gain full access to the sci-fi action.
This inaugural issue contains two short adventures and a special rules appendix.
Waylaid on Wayland: When a senior political figure offered the heroes a tidy sum to deliver a small package it seemed like easy money,
but that was before people started trying to kill them. What begins as a simple cargo run quickly has the heroes involved in a running
battle over who gets to control a powerful political organization on the industrial world of Wayland. Trash incinerators, acid rain,
high speed chases through chimney stacks, and a showdown where the scenery is just as dangerous as the opposition await!
Gunboat Diplomacy: Sure, helping a guy being blasted at by an armored goon was the right thing to do, but it’s embroiled the characters
in the start of a potentially nasty situation. When an entire space navy is trying to kill you, you know it’s not a good day to take
to the stars! Space Dangers: A special appendix detailing numerous space hazards you can throw into your own space tales.
From asteroids to gravity wells to wormholes, that cargo run just got a whole lot more dangerous.

TAG Holiday Message
Well folks, another year is coming to an end, and what a year it’s been!
Triple Ace Games has had a very hectic six months! We set ourselves high standards and formulated a packed release schedule and we have successfully delivered that schedule.
So it’s with much pride we can say that having started with virtually nothing we’ve managed to release 31 high-quality products in a timely fashion. As well as supporting two Savage Worlds’ settings (Necropolis 2350 and Sundered Skies), we’ve also produced the two-fisted Daring Tales of Adventure (DTA) and pseudo-medieval Daring Tales of Chivalry (DTC) lines, not to mention Kevin’s excellent Wonderland No More. And we even managed to squeeze in a handbook of new rules options, some free bonus material, and even a bit of fiction for good measure.
Although TAG has focused on Savage Worlds products, the success of the Daring Tales of Adventure line allowed us to secure a license to convert the adventures to the popular Ubiquity system published by Exile Games. These compendiums will be out next year.
So what will 2009 bring? We’ll be continuing to support our existing settings and adventure lines. Our two existing settings will each get a companion volume and adventures, DTA volume one will conclude on Issue #16 (so eight more issues to come), and DTC is getting extra adventures to meet demand from the fans.
We’ll also be introducing you to our new ice-age fantasy setting, Hellfrost, through books (Players’ Guide, Bestiary, and Gazetteer) and ebook adventures. Expect to see a lot more on this setting around mid January as we begin to release more details in preparation for the launch.
There’s also a brand new Daring Tales of… series scheduled (that’s right, a completely new adventure line that’s literally going to be out of this world) and two Savage Showdown™ projects already written. Added to this list is a super-secret project we’re going to be discussing in the spring.
While the triple aces are Wiggy, Rob, and Dave, TAG couldn’t have produced everything its extensive product selection without our volunteers, assistants, and backroom team. So TAG would like to offer its sincerest thanks to Kevin Anderson for designing and maintaining the website, and writing adventures, Ron Blessing for his sterling editing, all our artists including Chris Kuhlmann, Johnny Gray, Justin Russell and Jordan Peacock for his fantastic work on the various Figure Flats and speedy artwork, Steve Renwick for creating the modeling guides, Markus Finster for moderating the forums, and, of course, all the fans who have supported us so far on this epic journey.
We’d also like to offer special thanks to Shane Hensley for granting us our licenses, supporting our leap into the unknown, and being an all-round star, and the crew at The Game’s the Thing for letting us have some air time to hawk our wares.
Well, that about wraps up our end of year summary. Whatever your religious or spiritual beliefs, have a happy and peaceful holiday season!
The journey continues in 2009!
Wiggy, Rob, & Dave

removing cities from the globe in a fraction of a second.

12th November 2008 - Tales from the Frontline #01
More Necropolis 2350 fun today as we release Tales from the Frontline.
Rather than one mission, Wiggy has delivered a pack of several smaller
missions to play through with also new rules for creating non-combat
adventures and new mission tables.
Tales from the Frontline #01
You've joined the Sacri Ordines, you've earned your sword, and now
you're waiting eagerly for the call to battle? Wait no longer, brave
Knights!
Inside this adventure pack you'll find:
-
Snatch and Grab: A full-length adventure in which the Knights are
ordered to secure unusual Rephaim specimens for scientific study.
Alone in a hostile city, the Knights need to act quickly and quietly.
-
A Cardinal Error: Cardinal Vespasian, head of the Office of
Agriculture, has been kidnapped by separatists seeking to join the
Union of Corporations. To ensure a safe rescue, and make other
kidnappers think twice about daring to use force against the Church
and its officials, the Pope has personally ordered the Sacri Ordines
to conduct a televised rescue mission. The orders for this short
adventure are brutally simple—rescue the prisoners, kill the kidnappers.
-
Three Short Adventures: When someone higher up the chain of command
makes a mistake, it's left to the Knights to appear live on the
Church's home-shopping channel to sell merchandize! Aiding another
Preceptory, the Knights are assigned to walk the beat and police the
streets. Have they got what it takes to deal with the public without
resorting to violence? In the third adventure, a rescue mission leads
to a terrifying discovery (this mission also details a new Dangerous
Secret the WM can use in his own Necropolis 2350 adventures).
-
WM Appendix: Contains a quick system for creating non-combat
missions, and additional Mission Tables to give the WM more choice in
the sorts of combat adventures he runs.
-
Bestiary: Every stat you need to run the adventures is included to
reduce book-flipping during play! Includes two new forms of Rephaim
and two variants on the zombie stat block—sniper and grenadier.

Necropolis Adventure - The Long Sleep
Deep in the Desert Something is stirring!
An overdue routine communication from an archaeological team operating
deep in the Ruber Desert requires investigation, and the Knights are
given the task. What might have been a technical fault caused by
recent solar storm activity turns out to be something far worse.
The archaeologists have made a discovery, perhaps the greatest
discovery in human history. But what they found wasn't dead — it was
only resting, waiting for the sign to reawaken.
Now, as a powerful storm sweeps over the archaeologists' base camp,
the heroes are about to encounter something not seen in the universe
for millions of years. There is no hope for rescue. There is only
victory or death against a foe far more deadly than the Rephaim.
The Long Sleep is the first of a new series of Necropolis 2350
adventures from Triple Ace Games. Out now only from the TAG
store!

9th October 2008 - TAG Secures Ubiquity License
Triple Ace Games (TAG) and Exile Game Studio (EGS) are pleased to announce that TAG's
popular Daring Tales of Adventure line of pulp roleplaying game adventures are to be converted
to EGS's widely-acclaimed Ubiquity Roleplaying System under a licensing agreement.
TAG's creative director and author of the Daring Tales line, Paul "Wiggy" Wade-Williams says,
"As a fan of the Ubiquity system and Hollow Earth Expedition RPG, it's a great privilege to be working
with Jeff Combos and the team at Exile Game Studio on this venture. I've been freelancing for a decade,
but it's always a buzz to be able to work on one of your favourite systems. Our adventures are fast-paced,
two-fisted tales designed to mimic the style and feel of the Saturday morning serials, so they're a great
match for the Ubiquity system."
Robin Elliott, Production Director of TAG says "I am very excited by this oportunity to make our
pulp adventures available to a whole new audience. We hope that the fans of the Ubiquity system enjoy
these action tales as much as we have enjoyed creating them!"
"The Daring Tales perfectly capture the pulp vibe we imbued into Hollow Earth Expedition RPG,
and it's great to be working with a company who understands the spirit of the genre," says Jeff Combos,
President of Exile Games.
Four adventures will be bundled together in each set, with one set being released each quarter.
The first release, containing Daring Tales #1-#4, will be released in January 2009 as a PDF product.

Exile Game Studio
Exile Game Studio is based in Seattle, WA, where its co-founders came to reside following a series of calamitous and
near-apocryphal events that don't really bear closer examination. Following a heated dispute over the hollow earth theory,
they found themselves marooned on a desert island-exiled from the world they knew, and armed only with their wits, a sand spade,
and a number two pencil with which to survive. Recognizing their limitations, they immediately fashioned a crude set of dice
from rocks and shells and set about creating innovative new roleplaying games to pass the time. They were eventually rescued,
and vowed to exact vengeance by sharing with fellow gamers all they'd created during their banishment. Whether or not the
world is truly prepared for such torment, only history shall judge.

Hills make great scenery pieces. As well as adding height to the
battlefield, they break up the tabletop and allow dastardly enemies to
advance unseen. Rather than just showing you how to make a common or
garden hill, Steve has opted for a themed hill.
Get ready to build, and then explore, the wonders of Easter Island!

This week we have a brand new Daring Tales adventure from Paul 'Wiggy' Wade-Williams.

is ever straightforward when the heroes are around. When a mysterious motorbike rider
snatches a small wooden box from the hands of the noted historian, Professor Dickinson,
it starts the heroes on a deadly quest. But why do the Nazis also want the box?
Daring Tales #3 takes the characters on a whirlwind ride from the streets of Washington
to the baking sands of Egypt, onto a Crusader castle, and finally to a vast ice fortress
in the frozen north, and all in search of a treasure men have killed to acquire and killed
to protect—The Treasure of the Templars.

23rd July 2008 - Pulp Perils!
In our regular Wednesday update we present a brand new Savage Worlds Handbook.
Perilous Places & Serious Situations is written by our top Savage Worlds
expert Paul 'Wiggy' Wade-Williams
This sourcebook contains ways to liven up your games by looking at different
locales and the varying dangers they present.
Inside you’ll find rules for expanded arctic and desert survival, the dangers of
collapsing tunnels and stampedes, fighting atop rooftops, crumbling cliffs, tall
columns, rope bridges, underwater, and on vertical surfaces, the hazards of stormy
nights and swamps, and expanded traps.
Perilous Places doesn’t contain definitive, “must-use” rules. Instead, it’s a toolbox,
giving GMs plentiful options to suit any style of game, and allowing them to use the
same backdrop at varying power levels.
Players be warned—combat just got a whole lot more perilous!

Announcing Necropolis 2350!
Coming this September - an all new updated version of the hugely popular Savage setting Necropolis!
All of us here at Triple Ace Games are extremely excited about this news and have been bursting to announce
this for sometime! Written by legendary Savage Worlds guru Paul "Wiggy" Wade-Williams of Triple Ace games,
this new version is for all those loyal fans who wanted a hardback copy of this popular setting.
Those fans can now rejoice as we are happy to let you know that it will be available in a fantastic
full color, 176 page hardback! Check our
Necropolis 2350
page for more details and for those who have not been exposed to the horrors of Necropolis here is the
official detail:
The year is 2350.
The place is Salus - more popularly called Necropolis - the only habitable world left to mankind.
Knights of the militant Sacri Ordines of the Third Reformation Church are locked in a bitter
crusade against the Rephaim ("the dead ones"), a race of evil beings who wield necromantic powers
and possess a fervent desire to exterminate all life. Lives are not the only thing at
stake - humanity's very existence hangs in the balance. If the Rephaim win, mankind's light
will forever disappear from the universe. Should humanity succeed in overcoming the tide of
darkness, it can begin to rebuild its former might, perhaps again reaching out into the void
to find new worlds on which to prosper and multiply.
Yet even when faced with extinction, mankind cannot work together. While the Rephaim batter at
humanity's door, the Church and Union of Corporations continue their cold-war struggle for
dominance over the lives of millions. All that stands between oblivion and salvation are courage
and faith. Welcome to Necropolis...
Necropolis 2350 is a dark futuristic setting for the award-winning Savage Worlds RPG.
16th June 2008
Necropolis 2350 Hardback sent to the printer.
